Flowers for a Waterfront Wedding

Meet Kiera and Kevin!  One of the cutest couples I have ever had the pleasure of designing wedding flowers for!  Full of life, enthusiasm and a deep love for each other!  I met with Kiera, her mother and her now, mother-in-law almost a year prior to the big day and given Kiera’s amazing crafty ability, I was able to easily create the look and theme that would complete the day of her dreams!

The venue, Kevin’s alma mater, Endicott College in Beverly, MA. A stunning waterfront wedding ceremony was to take place followed by a tented reception on the grounds hosted by Misselwood Events.

Wedding Bouquets and Centerpieces

Kiera is the first one to admit that she is a Pinterest addict!  She had saved all kinds of pictures of everything related to the wedding flowers, right down to the last detail and disclosed that a year prior to the wedding, she had already purchased and cleaned all of the vases that she wanted me to use – now that an organized bride!  Her wedding theme was chabby chic, a touch of rustic but with an air of elegance at the same time – the girls were wearing gorgeous gowns in hues of champagne, blush, and soft green.

Add in some gorgeous cream and pink Astilbe and Porcelaina Spray roses and voila!  Again, Kiera is as crafty as they come so she got out her sanding tools and repurposed an old door and tagged keys to serve as a means for their guests to locate their given table for the grand affair.

After laying down the linens, I placed handmade, burlap and ribbon table runners on each table.  Next came the centerpieces, a mix of high and low glass vases containing the same flowers and then a sprinkling of rose petals completed the look.

In the words of the bride, “Karen, it isn’t what I pictured, its 10x better” – music to my ears!  Wishing them a lifetime of love and happiness!
